SPLICE Software Expands Its Partnership & Alliances Team

SPLICE News on April 20, 2026

Calgary, AB — SPLICE Software is pleased to welcome Tracy Borreson as Director of Partnership & Alliances and Karen MacKinnon as Partnership & Alliances Coordinator. Both bring backgrounds that are genuinely well-suited to the work — and to the people our partners need on the other end of the relationship.

Tracy is a SPLICE alumna, having previously served as VP of Marketing, where she led demand generation, branding, and communications. Since then, she’s deepened her expertise through her own consulting and coaching practice, TLB Coaching & Events, with a focus on brand strategy, partner ecosystems, and leadership development. She has a natural ability to build trust quickly, ask the right questions, and connect strategy to outcomes; skills that translate directly into what great partnership leadership looks like.

Karen joins from a background in restoration and claims environments, where timely, thoughtful communication isn’t optional; it matters deeply to the people involved. She brings practical operational experience, a strong service mindset, and the kind of grounded perspective that makes a partnership program feel responsive and reliable from the inside out.

“Partnerships are where strategy meets real life,” said Tara Kelly, President & CEO of SPLICE Software. “Tracy has a genuine gift for building trust and asking the questions that move things forward. Karen brings real-world experience that keeps us grounded in what actually matters to the people we serve. I’m excited about what they’ll build together for our partners and for our clients.”

Both appointments come at a strong moment for SPLICE, as the company continues to expand its AI-powered engagement capabilities through Talk+ and Dialog Suite™, deepen integrations across insurance and retail, and grow a partner ecosystem built to support the full customer journey.

“The best partnerships aren’t transactional — they’re built on shared commitment to delivering something meaningful,” Kelly added. “Tracy and Karen both understand that. That’s what makes them the right fit.”
